Veronica Stewart has been a painter since she was a child, taking artistic breaks to focus on her equestrian career. At the age of ten she won her first world champion title and continued to win across different equestrian disciplines with the Appaloosa Horse Club until she started college and began painting again; Veronica also gained increasing social media attention after starting college, launching her art career.
She signed her first contract with a popular gallery in Wynwood, Miami’s art and design district when she was eighteen, and exhibited in her first Art Basel by the time she was twenty, continuing to show until the end of her undergraduate career. Also at the age of eighteen, she utilized her social media following and creativity to launch her swim line, “Gunmetal Apparel”.
Her art continued to tour in New York, Miami, Cannes, London, Florence, and Japan. She graduated in 2018 from Florida State University with two undergraduate degrees in Media & Communication Studies and Studio Art, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She pursued an academic career in Media & Communication Studies, focusing on social media, body image, psychology, and interpersonal relationships.
She achieved a Master’s Degree of Science from FSU in the fall of 2019, and has been attending a Doctoral program at Florida Atlantic University since the Fall of 2020. Currently, she is focusing on her academic career while teaching Interpersonal Communication at FAU.
