Jordan is the founder of Smile Team, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children born with cleft lips and palettes. She drew inspiration for this initiative as the result of her cousin Braiden being born with a cleft lip, and since then she's been tirelessly working to raise funds for children across the world to provide things like specialized feeding bottles for babies born with clefts, travel expenses for families to reach their clinics, and even college scholarships for high school seniors born with clefts.
Through her various speaking engagements and diligent fundraising efforts, she has raised over $168,000. Three hundred and fifty children now have smiled as a result of her partnership. Smile Train, the leading international nonprofit for children born with cleft lips and palettes, estimates that each surgery puts an estimated $50,000 back into the economy as their patients are then able to work and contribute back to their communities as opposed to living in isolation. By this calculation, Jordan has been able to add roughly $17,500,000 back into economies all over the world.
In addition to her relationship with Smile Train, Jordan has partnered with The Cleft Palate Foundation, the University of Florida at Shands Craniofacial Center, Miami Children's Hospital Craniofacial Team, Wolfson's Children's Hospital Craniofacial Team, and Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital Craniofacial Team.
